Many LGBT Christians experience loss in the coming out process, which is too often exacerbated by their home churches. And yet, they remain faithful to Jesus and committed to belonging to a church community. Ambiguity serves no one. When churches are clear about their policies around LGBT inclusion, that clarity builds a solid foundation for seeking individuals to begin to rebuild and belong to a community that will see, know, and love them as they continue to serve and love the Lord. I believe these spaces exist and want LGBT individuals seeking a safe place to land to have this beautiful resource to help point them in the right direction. Opposing doctrines aside, I think we can all agree that church shopping for long periods of time is no fun.
