Meet a church clarity volunteer: jess kotnour

SueAnn Shiah

Without Church Clarity, without transparency, we also have no accountability. As long as this kind of information continues to be kept secret--only privy to those with power or influence, regular laypeople will suffer. In order for us to truly submit ourselves to one another, to have accountability to one another in the church body, we must also have our leaders, churches, and institutions in accountability to laypeople--"all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility for God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.' " (1 Peter 5:5) || If we want to have healthy and God glorifying churches, we must all give ourselves to the Church's integrity and preservation. To hide behind flattering obtrusive language ultimately does the whole Church a disservice. We grieve the Spirit and the commands of God to submit to one another when we fail to even give one another the opportunity to hold one another accountable.
