This church is scored as Unclear because its actively-enforced policies are embedded in a sermon rather than made available on a main webpage.
In a sermon on Genesis 19 from 2007, Jim Thomas says,
"Okay, so, here’s the posture of the bible-believing Christian when the bible teaches us that homosexual acts are sinful. What do we do with the person that we know that struggles with that? I think this is a great way to say it. We don’t dehumanize those people at all. We don’t look down on someone else, we don’t judge them because we aren’t the ones that are to judge anyone to begin with".
The accompanying powerpoint also espouses a non-affirming position.
While there is no evidence of a women in leadership policy, there is a sermon from January 22, 2013 titled, "1 Corinthians 11: 1-16," Pastor Jim Thomas espouses a few non-egalitarian attitudes:
“I gotta be honest, I’m not really partial to either of these two terms [complementarity and egalitarianism] in a sort of ironclad way, because I think that they may fail to communicate in our day and age all of the nuances and complexities that I think apply here. But I do believe, as complementarianism would embrace, that there are distinctions between genders. That’s obvious.” (51:38-52:07)
