In the May 2015 sermon "Marriage Defined by the Bible," Dr. William Senn quotes from Tri-City Baptist Church's constitution*:
"Let me read you our statement on marriage, gender, and sexuality. ...We believe that any form of sexual immorality including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, the use of pornography, is sinful and offensive to God (Matthew 15:18-20, First Corinthians 6:9-10). Because God has ordained marriage and defined it as a covenant relationship between a man, a woman, and himself (God), Tri-City Baptist Church will only recognize marriages between a biological man and a biological woman. Further, the pastoral staff of Tri-City Baptist Church only participate in weddings and solemnize marriages between one man one woman. Finally, the facilities and property of Tri-City Baptist Church only host weddings between one man and one woman, where at least one of these is a member of the church in good standing, or both are biblically qualified to marry."
