churches respond to covid-19

I have struggled greatly with finding a church that I could feel welcome and at home in, and part of this has been due to the lack of clarity many churches have had. Too many times have I become comfortable just to come in to a sermon that was not-so-subtly homophobic or racist, and then I would have to start all over. I believe part of the reason faith is such an icky subject is because people are tricked more often than not into these communities that do not represent Christ, and I want to better serve those individuals who are searching for a place to call home by providing this clarity.
